Target practice shooting of abandoned Saturn sedan results in deployment of airbag at 33.5 secs. Airbag was still armed despite the car's poor condition. The car was a relatively recent year, though I don't specifically recognize which model year.

yeah but the national guard is a branch of the military so it is still a government force. the militia is a non military body of men who fight for the people of the country. so if the government was to go crazy we would have the ability to take control. thats the whole reason for the second amendment not to hunt and shoot.

we have a national guard though so militia is basically an obsolete term in the USand sorry my second comment wasn't directed towards you but rather anyone who would just jump into this discussion and say that (cause there is ALWAYS one of them)

thats not the point though. it may not be a time of need but we still have a militia. its just that we come together to fight in a time of need like the minutemen of the revolution. its the same thing. they werent out fighting until the fight came to them. my brain is capable of many things. i am a college student studying mechanical engineering and have designed 3 parts being used on thousands of hot tubs by cal spas. what have you done?

a militia is a non military body of civilians that come together in time of need. so basically this whole country is a militia.
